Dr. Anthony M. Daniels, M.D., F.A.C.P.

Anthony M. Daniels, M.D., completed his training in Internal Medicine (1996) and fellowship in Gastroenterology (1999) at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C.  Dr. Daniels is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  He was the Chief of the Gastroenterology Service at Womack Army Medical Center, Ft. Bragg, N.C. from 2000 to 2006.  He served as a Battalion Surgeon with the 82nd Airborne during a tour in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American Medical Association, the American Gastrointestinal Association, the North Carolina Society of Gastroenterology and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.  He is married to Joan Daniels and has three sons, Anthony, Austin and Avery. He has been conducting clinical research trials for fourteen years.
